Who leads Sammantr
Finance that runs on systems, not on one person's memory.
Shashi Kumar qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and set up his own practice the same year, advising growing businesses on tax and finance. In 2020 he founded Sammantr to give companies what a compliance vendor rarely does: a finance function built on clear processes, so it keeps working as the business scales.
He leads finance as a director in two growing companies and has helped businesses restructure their finances and prepare for pre-IPO stages. He has invested in a startup through to its acquisition, and sits on the advisory boards of select startups.
Teaching has run alongside his practice from the start. He founded an educational institute in 2014 and is a regular resource person at colleges and institutes. Sammantr Academy carries that work forward. He is also the founder of the R S Shashi Foundation, a non-profit for social and educational initiatives.
